Understanding your client's skin type is crucial for a successful makeup application. It guides product selection & application techniques. So pay attention to any skin concerns, such as allergies or sensitivity.
Tip #3 – Know Your Clients' Makeup Preferences & Dislikes:
Some clients might be all about that bold, dramatic look, while others prefer a more subtle and natural vibe. So, don't hesitate to ask them about their makeup dislikes, and avoid those approaches or products.
Tip #4 – Take “Before” Pictures Of Clients
You want your client's face to have a symmetrical finished look, right? So before you begin, take a picture of your client. It'll give you a clear view of their facial structure and help identify any asymmetries to enhance or correct with makeup.
Tip #5 – Check Your Studio Lighting
Studio lighting can really change the way colors and contours look. Make sure to check your client's makeup in different lighting to make sure it looks flawless in any situation.
